EZLYNK COMMON USER ERRORS

Flashing With Weak Batteries
If your batteries are barely alive and you try flashing your truck anyway… That’s bold.
Low voltage = failed flash.
Hook up a charger. Be responsible.
Closing the App Because You Got Bored
Yes, it takes a few minutes.
No, that doesn’t mean go scroll social media and swipe the app closed.
Keep. The. App. Open.
You’re tuning a truck, not speed-running an app.
Ignoring the On-Screen Instructions
The device literally tells you what to do.
Key on.
Key off.
Wait 15 seconds.
We promise it’s smarter than your “let me try something” idea.
Messaging Us After Pressing Random Buttons
Your truck is not a science experiment.
We are happy to help.
We are less happy to undo “I just wanted to see what would happen.”
Error 200 – Relax.
If your EZ Lynk AutoAgent throws Error 200, it does NOT mean your truck is toast.
It usually means something interrupted the process.
Why it happens:
- Voltage dropped (weak batteries = bad idea)
- You closed the app
- You turned the key at the wrong time
- Bluetooth connection dropped
In short… something got interrupted.
What to do:
- Don’t panic.
- Hook up a battery charger.
- Follow the prompts exactly.
- Stay in the truck and let it finish.
- Cummins? Double-check that bypass cable connection.
Most Error 200 codes are user interruption — not device failure.
Slow down. Read the screen. Don’t freestyle the flash.
If it still acts up, then message us. CALMLY.
The Bottom Line
EZ Lynk is designed to be simple.
If you slow down, follow directions, and don’t get creative, it works flawlessly.
If you’re unsure — ask first.
We’d rather answer a 30-second question than walk you through damage control.
Now go tune your truck the right way.
And one more thing —
If you start a read or flash, don’t walk away from the truck.
This is not a “set it and forget it” situation.
Stay with the vehicle until it’s completely finished.
