HOW TO LOAD HP TUNERS FILE 19-24 CUMMINS

2019–2024 Cummins ECM Tuning Instructions (HP Tuners)

Before You Start

  1. Use HP Tuners VCM Editor (Beta).

  2. Make sure your bypass cable is connected to the truck.

  3. Verify you have purchased 6 credits for your MPVI interface.

  4. Connect your interface to the laptop.

  5. Go to Help → Resync Interface so the credits load onto the device.

Once the interface is synced, you can proceed with flashing the file.

Flashing the Tune File

  1. Load the tune file we sent you into VCM Editor (Beta).

  2. Turn the key to the ON position (Key On, Engine Off).

  3. Select Write Entire.

    • Do NOT select Write Calibration Only.

  4. Allow the file to fully write to the ECM or (TCM AISIN ONLY )

After Flashing

  1. Clear all codes.

  2. Turn the truck off for a moment if prompted.

  3. Start the truck.

Relearn Procedure

Once the truck starts:

  • Let the truck idle and run normally.

  • Drive the vehicle so the transmission can relearn shift points.

This is normal after flashing and may take a short amount of driving to fully adapt.
