E46 vs. E66
E46 ECM
The factory E46 ECM can be tuned directly using the EZ Lynk AutoAgent 3.
No ECM unlock is required.
Your custom tune files are delivered wirelessly through the EZ Lynk app, allowing you to flash the vehicle without removing the ECM or shipping any components.

E66 ECM
The factory E66 ECM requires an unlock before custom tuning can be installed.
The ECM Unlock can be added directly to your order. Once unlocked, your custom tuning is flashed using an HP Tuners MPVI3 or MPVI4 interface.
