- For 68RFE transmission trucks only.
AISIN-equipped trucks are NOT compatible with this kit!!!
This package provides engine tuning ONLY for 68RFE pickups — no power-added tuning is included. For power-added tuning using the stock ECM, an ECM unlock is required or ECM SWAP for both AISIN and 68RFE trucks.
If you have an AISIN transmission you must either do an ECM swap or obtain an ECM unlock
How to check your transmission type:
- AISIN: dipstick with a yellow handle located on the driver’s side of the engine bay.
- 68RFE: dipstick located on the passenger’s side of the engine bay.
If you upgrade to Power-Added tuning later, you’ll only pay the price difference between Power-Added tuning and your original stock-ECM unlock. Shipping and any additional hardware costs (if required) apply.
