Underhood EGR can be completely removed on this file.
Throttle valve needs to remain plugged in
This file requires switching the MAP sensor to Cummins PN:2897334
This product cannot add trans tuning, this is ECM tuning ONLY.
If the customer wishes to upgrade to ECM SWAP power-added tuning in the future there will be a separate item with that upgrade option as we will apply some credit towards that purchase.
Instructions for flashing through the OBD:
- After ordering you will receive your vehicle tune file emailed to you from jatiporders@gmail.com
- Before you begin, ensure your device firmware and EFI software are up to date
- Install Cummins Security Bypass cable (sgw)
- Place key in RUN position (DO NOT START) and remove fuses numbered: 49,51,33,54,57,66,82,88 to prevent any BUS flashing issues. Yes, you interior lights and dash will shut off when you pull the fuses.
- Flash tune file with your device.
- When complete, reinstall fuses and you're good to go!
Note: If flashing ECM on bench, or using BenchForce harness to connect directly to the ECM, it is not required to do anything with the vehicle fuses. Just flash directly into the ECM like normal.
