Warranty & Shipping

Lifetime warranty on ECM when purchased with our Unlock Service (warranty covers the ECM only)  
- Customer ships their ECM to us for unlock and tuning; we cover shipping back to the customer  ( unlock wait time 1-2 weeks from the time we receive your ecm )  Wait time may vary depending on the amount of orders we are processing at the time you place your order. Call Ahead
- All physical parts are shipped to the customer

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

Once you place your order, you will receive an automated email that must be filled out completely so we can gather all required vehicle information.

After we receive the necessary information, you will be provided with detailed instructions on how and where to ship your factory ECM.

Users must physically remove their original ECM from the vehicle and ship it in for servicing.

Note: No IMMO relearn, crank relearn, or “Replace ECM” function in VCM Scanner is required as long as the ECM is reinstalled into the same vehicle it originally came from.

Once your ECM has been upgraded and reinstalled, you will have full access to calibrate, log, and scan the vehicle through the OBDII port.

After reinstalling the ECM, verify full vehicle functionality.

You will then need to pull the current read file from the ECM and save it to your laptop/computer. Once the read file has been saved, proceed with writing the exact same file back into the truck using “WRITE ENTIRE.”

This step verifies:

  • The read file was pulled correctly
  • The ECM is functioning properly
  • The VIN/license has been validated correctly

After the write is complete, verify full vehicle functionality again.

Once confirmed, email us the stock read file so we can modify it and send back your custom tuning files.

IMPORTANT:
DO NOT REMOVE OR DISASSEMBLE ANY ENGINE COMPONENTS UNTIL WE SEND YOU THE MODIFIED FILE AND YOU HAVE VERIFIED THE NEW FILE LOADS AND FUNCTIONS PROPERLY IN THE VEHICLE.

HOW TO TELL IF YOU HAVE AISIN OR 68RFE

Check the dipstick location:

  • AISIN Transmission:
    Look for the yellow dipstick handle on the driver’s side of the engine bay.

  • 68RFE Transmission:
    Look for the dipstick on the passenger’s side of the engine bay.
