LB7 UP PIPE NOTICE

An LB7 up pipe is included in this kit.
It does NOT need to be installed, but it is highly recommended due to a common failure point in the factory passenger-side up pipe.

Installing the upgraded up pipe improves reliability and prevents future exhaust leaks.

FLASH DEVICE OPTIONS

  • EZLYNK

  • EFI Live Device

Highly Recommended:

  • EZLYNK Auto Agent 3.0 for the smoothest tuning experience.

DSP5 SOTF CABLE INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1:

1.Open the hood, first disconnect the negative terminals of both power sources, locate the hood release rubber seal on the driver's side firewall, and then pull it out.
2.Locate the Engine Control Module (ECM), which is typically located in the front of the engine compartment on the driver's side, near the battery. First, remove the bracket from the ECM, then disconnect the first ECM closest to the cab from its connector.

Step 2:

1.Carefully thread the wire through the hole where the rubber gasket was removed earlier into the engine compartment from the cab. Ensure the wire on the engine compartment side is long enough to connect to the Engine Control Module (ECM) harness.
2.Use the conduit provided with the switch to protect the switch wire from high temperatures. Carefully reinstall the hood latch rubber gasket around the harness.

Step 3:

Remove the cover from the ECM harness that was removed in step 2.

Step 4:

Remove the panel with many pinholes on the side where the connector is inserted.

Step 5:

Locate pins #11 and #35 of the ECM.

Step 6:

This step only applies to 2011 model trucks. Use a pry bar or paperclip to insert between the pin and the device gap of pin #11 to pop out the yellow pin of pin #11.

Step 7:

1.Insert the yellow wire into pin #11 and the black wire into pin #35, ensuring they are fully inserted into the bottom of the ECM connector.
2.Install the panel with multiple pinholes on the connector insertion side and the ECM harness cover.

Step 8:

1.Finally, reconnect the ECM connectors to the ECM. The engine compartment installation is now complete.
2.Drill a small hole of appropriate size on a suitable panel near the dashboard in the driver's cab and install the switch.
3.Secure the switch harness to the other harnesses below the dashboard using electrical tape or cable ties.
